Anti-slip Stair Treads VidaXL self-adhesive 20 pcs light gray
VidaXL self-adhesive anti-slip stair treads, set of 20 in light gray, are designed to increase traction and protect indoor stair surfaces. Each tread features a textured surface and adhesive backing for direct application to wooden, tiled or concrete steps. The neutral light-gray colour integrates with different interior styles while providing a functional non-slip layer on steps used daily in homes and light commercial environments.
These stair treads provide immediate anti-slip protection without the need for tools or professional installation thanks to their self-adhesive backing. The textured top improves grip underfoot and helps reduce the risk of slips and falls on smooth or worn stair surfaces. The set includes 20 treads, allowing coverage of multiple stairs or replacement over time. Their low-profile design preserves the original appearance of stairs while adding a protective layer that limits wear and surface damage.
This self-adhesive solution is intended for relatively clean, dry and smooth surfaces; it may not adhere well to heavily textured, uneven or wet outdoor steps. It is not designed for heavy industrial environments with constant heavy traffic, chemical exposure or where specialized non-slip certifications are required.
Ensure the stair surface is clean, dry and free of dust, grease or loose particles before application. Measure and position each tread on the step to confirm correct alignment, then peel off the protective film and press the tread firmly onto the step, applying even pressure across the surface to activate the adhesive. For best adhesion, apply at moderate room temperature and avoid walking on the tread for a few hours to allow the bond to set. Replace individual treads when wear or damage becomes visible.
For durable results, clean the stairs thoroughly with a non-oily cleaner, allow full drying, and press each tread firmly for several seconds. Avoid installing on newly painted or recently sealed surfaces until fully cured. For high-traffic areas, inspect periodically and replace treads showing significant wear.
