Tarpaulin sheet VidaXL transparent polyethylene 6 x 6 m with eyelets
Transparent polyethylene tarpaulin VidaXL 6 x 6 m is a lightweight, foldable cover designed for general outdoor protection. The sheet measures 6 by 6 metres and is made from transparent polyethylene that provides visible coverage while shielding objects from rain, dust and general weather exposure. Reinforced eyelets along the edges allow secure fastening with ropes, bungee cords or hooks to keep the sheet in place.
The tarpaulin combines low weight with tear resistance typical of reinforced polyethylene, making it easy to handle and store when not in use. Its transparency enables visibility of the covered items without removing the sheet, and the integrated eyelets provide evenly spaced attachment points to reduce flapping and improve stability in windy conditions. The material is suitable for temporary outdoor protection and resists water penetration in normal weather.
This polyethylene tarpaulin is intended for general-purpose, temporary outdoor use and is not designed as a permanent roofing material. Prolonged exposure to strong sunlight and extreme weather may gradually degrade the material and reduce lifespan. It may not provide full protection against heavy snow loads or prolonged submersion in water.
Unfold the tarpaulin and position it over the object so that the eyelets align with available anchor points. Secure the sheet by threading rope, bungee cords or straps through the reinforced eyelets and fastening them to stable anchors such as posts, hooks or weighted objects. Ensure the tarpaulin is tensioned to reduce flapping; create slight overlaps or draping at edges where additional protection is needed. After use, shake off loose debris, allow the sheet to dry if wet, fold neatly and store in a dry place to extend service life.
For longer service life, avoid leaving the tarpaulin under constant direct sunlight when possible, remove accumulated water or snow promptly, and secure all eyelets to prevent wind damage. Regularly inspect eyelets and material for tears and repair small punctures with suitable tape to maintain water resistance.
