Tarpaulin sheet VidaXL transparent PVC with eyelets 6 x 12 m
VidaXL transparent PVC tarpaulin sheet 6 x 12 m is a large, clear cover intended for protecting objects from rain, wind and dirt while allowing natural light to pass through. The sheet is made of PVC material and is fitted with metal eyelets along the edges to enable secure fastening with rope, bungee cords or straps. Its dimensions make it suitable for covering vehicles, building materials, garden furniture and temporary shelters where visibility and basic weather protection are required.
The transparent PVC construction provides weather resistance combined with light transmission so covered objects remain visible. Reinforced edges and evenly spaced metal eyelets allow stable attachment and reduce the risk of tearing at fixing points. The large 6 x 12 m size covers extensive areas without seams, reducing water ingress. The material is easy to clean and roll up for storage when not in use.
This tarpaulin provides basic protection against rain and wind but is not designed for long-term permanent outdoor exposure in severe weather conditions or for heavy snow loads. Prolonged UV exposure may eventually affect the PVC’s appearance and flexibility. It is also not intended as a substitute for fully weatherproof or insulated structures where temperature control or long-term durability is required.
Place the tarpaulin over the object to be protected, aligning edges so eyelets are accessible for fastening. Secure the sheet by passing rope, bungee cords or straps through the metal eyelets and tie them to fixed points or anchors, ensuring even tension across the surface to avoid flapping. For outdoor use, position the tarpaulin with a slight slope to allow water runoff. After use, clean off loose dirt with water, dry thoroughly to prevent mould, then fold or roll the sheet and store in a dry place.
For best results, use appropriate tensioning and anchoring to minimise wind uplift, avoid sharp edges under the tarpaulin that may puncture the material, and store the sheet dry and rolled to extend service life.
