VIEGA Viega 2615 copper component, diameter 18 mm, pack of 5
VIEGA Viega 2615 copper component, diameter 18 mm, pack of 5 is a set of five copper press fittings designed for use in plumbing and heating systems where an 18 mm nominal diameter is required. Constructed from copper with HNBR sealing elements and press connections, the fittings provide corrosion resistance and reliable sealing for potable water, heating circuits and similar fluid conveyance applications. The product includes the manufacturer’s SC‑Contur feature for easy leak detection during installation.
The copper construction offers good thermal and chemical resistance while remaining easy to shape and install. Press connections reduce assembly time compared to soldered joints and create consistent mechanical connections. HNBR sealing elements ensure durable, elastic seals resistant to aging and common system media. The pack of five pieces allows for small repair jobs or multiple connection points in one purchase.
Prepare the pipe ends by cutting square and deburring. Ensure the sealing surfaces and the inside of the fitting are clean and free of contaminants. Position the fitting onto the pipe up to the indicated stop and perform the press operation with a compatible pressing tool and jaws sized for 18 mm copper press fittings. After pressing, verify the joint visually and, where appropriate, perform a pressure test according to applicable standards and local regulations.
Use only pressing tools and jaws recommended for 18 mm copper press fittings and follow the tool manufacturer’s instructions. Store fittings in a dry place to prevent surface contamination. For installations involving drinking water, follow local hygiene and installation standards and perform pressure and leak tests after completion.
