Copper coupling Viega 2415.3, 15 mm, pack of 10
Viega 2415.3 copper coupling, 15 mm, pack of 10 is a metal-to-metal joining fitting intended for connecting 15 mm copper pipes in plumbing and central heating systems. Supplied as a set of ten identical couplings, it is designed for installations where conductive, corrosion-resistant joints and reliable sealing are required. The coupling is compatible with press-connection tools and incorporates EPDM sealing elements to ensure leak-tight performance in potable water and heating circuits.
The coupling provides a compact, durable connection between copper pipes with good corrosion resistance inherent to the material. Use of EPDM sealing elements enhances leak protection while maintaining compatibility with potable water systems. Designed for press connections, the component enables fast installation with standard press tools and supports conductive joints where metal continuity is needed.
This copper coupling is not intended for pipes of diameters other than 15 mm and should not be used where different materials require specific adapter fittings. It is not suitable for systems that mandate non-metallic or plastic-only components, or where approval for alternative sealing materials is required.
Ensure pipe ends are clean, deburred and cut square. Slide the coupling into position on the prepared 15 mm copper pipes and perform the press operation using a compatible press tool and jaw size for 15 mm fittings. Verify that the EPDM seals remain in place and inspect each joint after pressing for correct deformation. Follow local installation codes and pressure test the system according to applicable standards before commissioning.
Use only manufacturer-recommended press tools and follow press-fit guidelines. Perform pressure and leak tests after installation and replace any coupling that shows visible damage to the sealing elements or body before placing the system into service.
