Food bucket Vikan 7531 — 12 L black, polypropylene with stainless steel handle and pouring spout

Vikan Food bucket 7531 is a 12-litre bucket designed for professional food-industry environments. Constructed from food-grade polypropylene with a stainless-steel handle and an integrated pouring spout, it provides a durable, washable container for liquid and dry ingredients, cleaning agents and general transport. The bucket is sized for easy handling in kitchens and washdown areas while meeting hygiene requirements typical for food processing and catering operations.

Advantages

The polypropylene construction resists common chemicals and repeated washdown, and the smooth surfaces help reduce bacterial build-up. The stainless-steel handle offers secure carrying strength and corrosion resistance compared with standard metal handles. The integrated pouring spout enables controlled transfer of liquids or semi-liquids, reducing spillages and waste during dosing or decanting. The bucket’s shape and rim are designed for stable stacking and convenient storage when not in use.

Suitable for

• Measuring, mixing and transporting liquid or powdered ingredients in professional kitchens
• Storage and transfer of cleaning solutions and sanitizers in washdown areas
• Food processing tasks that require food-grade, easy-to-clean containers
• Waste collection and temporary holding of food product residues during production

When it may not be suitable

This bucket is intended for general food-industry use and routine cleaning tasks; it is not designed for pressurized liquids or chemical storage that requires certified chemical resistance beyond standard food-grade polypropylene. It may not be suitable for long-term outdoor storage where UV exposure or extreme temperatures could accelerate material degradation.

Key specifications

• Capacity: 12 litres
• Material: food-grade polypropylene body
• Handle: stainless-steel
• Colour: black
• Integrated feature: pouring spout for controlled pouring
• Dimensions (approx.): 31.8 x 32.5 cm

How to use

Rinse the bucket before first use and between different contents to avoid cross-contamination. Use the stainless-steel handle for lifting and carry the bucket close to the body to maintain control, especially when full. Pour contents through the integrated spout for controlled transfer; support the base when handling heavy loads. Clean after use with appropriate food-safe detergents and rinse thoroughly. Dry or store in a clean, ventilated area to maintain hygiene.

What to consider before purchase

• Ensure 12-litre capacity meets your batch or transport requirements
• Confirm black colour and visible material are acceptable for your hygiene protocols
• Check compatibility of polypropylene with any chemicals or high-temperature processes you plan to use
• Assess storage space for stacked buckets and handling ergonomics when full

Usage recommendations

For hygienic operation, dedicate separate buckets for raw ingredients, finished products and cleaning solutions, label each bucket clearly, and follow routine cleaning and inspection schedules. Avoid exposing the bucket to strong solvents or prolonged UV if used outdoors.
