Vikan 77749 Floor Scraper Replacement Cassette 60 cm Black Polypropylene Rubber with Double Blade

The Vikan 77749 Floor Scraper Replacement Cassette is a professional-grade accessory designed to maintain the efficiency of your cleaning equipment. Measuring 60 cm in length, this replacement blade unit features a robust black polypropylene body combined with a flexible double rubber blade. Engineered for demanding environments, it ensures effective removal of water, liquids, and loose debris from various flooring types. As a direct replacement part, it extends the operational life of your floor scraper handle while maintaining high standards of hygiene and facility cleanliness.

Advantages

This replacement cassette offers exceptional durability thanks to its high-quality polypropylene and rubber construction, which withstands daily wear in commercial settings. The double rubber blade design provides superior wiping performance, capturing both large debris and residual moisture in a single pass to leave floors significantly drier. Changing the cassette is straightforward, allowing facility maintenance teams to quickly swap out worn blades without replacing the entire tool. Its universal black color maintains a professional appearance and helps conceal signs of heavy use in industrial facilities.

Suitable for

• Removing water and liquids from tiled or smooth concrete floors
• Clearing debris in food processing plants and commercial kitchens
• General floor maintenance in warehouses and manufacturing facilities
• Hygiene-critical areas requiring frequent liquid removal

When it may not be suitable

This product is not designed for heavy-duty scraping of stubborn, dried-on substances such as hardened sealants or paint, as the rubber blade is intended primarily for liquid and debris redirection rather than mechanical chiseling. It may also be less effective on deeply textured or heavily cracked outdoor surfaces where a flexible rubber edge cannot maintain continuous contact.

Key specifications

• Width: 60 cm
• Material: Polypropylene and rubber
• Color: Black
• Blade type: Double rubber blade

How to use

To replace the cassette, securely detach the worn blade assembly from your compatible Vikan floor scraper handle according to the handle mechanism instructions. Slide or lock the new Vikan 77749 replacement cassette into the frame, ensuring it is firmly seated and locked in place across its entire 60 cm length. Position the scraper at a slight angle to the floor and pull it towards you in smooth, overlapping strokes to efficiently direct water and debris toward drainage points.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your existing floor scraper handle is compatible with a 60 cm Vikan cassette.
• Assess the primary flooring types in your facility to ensure rubber is the appropriate blade material for your cleaning tasks.
• Check the dimensions to confirm the 60 cm width matches your operational requirements.

For optimal performance and hygiene, inspect the double rubber blade regularly for signs of wear or tearing, and replace the cassette promptly when wiping efficiency decreases. Clean and rinse the unit after each use to prevent residue buildup.
