Socket module Viking A20B black — 3W LED light, motion sensor, 230V 16A
Socket module Viking A20B black — 3W LED light, motion sensor, 230V 16A
The Viking A20B black socket module combines a 3W integrated LED light with a motion sensor in a compact 230V, 16A housing. Designed for fixed installation into power distribution setups, the unit supplies an earthed socket outlet while adding automatic illumination and presence-activated switching. The module allows hands-free control of connected appliances and provides low-power lighting for corridors, stairways, utility rooms and other areas where brief, motion-triggered operation is desired.
The integrated 3W LED delivers energy-efficient, long-life illumination without requiring a separate lamp source, while the built-in motion sensor enables automatic on/off operation to reduce standby consumption. The black finish provides discreet integration into residential or commercial interiors. Rated for 230V mains and 16A load, the module supports common small appliances and lighting circuits. Installation preserves a standard grounded socket outlet and adds sensor convenience without significant additional wiring.
Install the module into the intended socket enclosure following local electrical regulations and turn off mains power before wiring. Once mounted and powered, the motion sensor switches the socket and the LED light on when it detects movement within its detection range; the LED also provides low-level illumination for immediate visibility. Connected appliances will be powered automatically when motion is detected and turned off after the sensor’s timeout period. Use appropriate protective measures for safe handling and ensure connections are tightened to manufacturer torque specifications during installation.
Position the module so the sensor has a clear line of sight of the monitored area and avoid mounting behind glass or obstructions that can reduce detection. For corridor or stair installations, set the sensor to cover the main traffic path and choose the LED illumination to supplement existing lighting for safety. Confirm that connected loads do not exceed the 16A rating and follow local codes for earthing and enclosure selection.
