Vilde Perforated Steel Grilling Basket

The Vilde Perforated Steel Grilling Basket is a reliable outdoor cooking accessory designed to enhance your barbecue experience. Crafted from durable metal, this basket features evenly spaced perforations that allow optimal heat circulation and rich smoke flavor to penetrate your food while keeping small pieces securely on the grill.

Advantages

This grilling basket provides a practical solution for preparing delicate foods that typically slip through standard grill grates. The robust steel construction ensures long-lasting performance under high temperatures, while the thoughtful perforation design prevents flare-ups by containing drips while still exposing ingredients to direct flame and heat. It is a versatile tool that simplifies outdoor food preparation on both charcoal and gas grills.

Suitable for

• Grilling small vegetables such as asparagus, mushrooms, and diced peppers
• Preparing seafood including shrimp, scallops, and delicate fish fillets
• Cooking sliced meats and bite-sized pieces without losing them to the fire
• Outdoor cooking on traditional charcoal grills and modern gas barbecues

When it may not be suitable

This basket may not be ideal for large roasts or whole chickens that require direct contact with the main grill grates. Additionally, users who prefer cooking very large portions simultaneously might find the capacity restrictive and may need to cook in multiple batches.

Key specifications

• Made of durable perforated steel
• Dimensions: 27 x 23 x 5 cm
• Designed for outdoor cooking and barbecue use
• Evenly spaced perforations for optimal heat and smoke circulation

How to use

Before placing food inside, lightly coat the grilling basket with cooking oil to prevent sticking. Add your prepared vegetables, seafood, or sliced meats to the basket in an even layer. Place the loaded basket directly onto the preheated charcoal or gas grill grates. Use heat-resistant grilling gloves or tools to stir or toss the food occasionally during the cooking process to ensure even browning and heating. Once finished, carefully remove the basket from the grill using protective gear and allow it to cool before cleaning.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the dimensions of 27 x 23 x 5 cm fit your specific grill surface
• Consider the typical portion sizes you prepare to ensure the basket capacity meets your needs
• Ensure you have heat-resistant gloves and cleaning tools suitable for metal cookware

For best results and to maintain the durability of the Vilde Perforated Steel Grilling Basket, clean the metal surface thoroughly after each use once it has cooled down completely, and store it in a dry place to prevent moisture damage.
