Set of three Vilde plastic round flower pots, each with a diameter of 14.5 cm, designed for everyday planting tasks. The pots are made of lightweight, durable plastic and feature a simple cylindrical shape that fits standard saucers. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, the set is intended for small ornamental plants, herbs, seedlings and bedding plants on balconies, patios or windowsills.
Advantages
The Vilde plastic round flower pots are easy to move due to their low weight and resist cracking and fading under normal outdoor conditions. Their uniform round shape provides stable support for pots and saucers and allows convenient re-potting and arrangement. Plastic construction requires minimal maintenance and can be cleaned with water.
Suitable for
- Growing herbs and small houseplants
- Starting seedlings and transplanting young plants
- Arranging balcony and patio displays
- Indoor windowsill plantings and decorative groupings
When it may not be suitable
These pots are not intended for very large plants or specimens that require deep root systems; their 14.5 cm diameter limits root volume and long-term growth of larger species. For heavy soil mixes or situations where strong wind is frequent, additional anchoring or heavier containers may be preferable to prevent tipping.
Key specifications
- Set quantity: 3 pieces
- Shape: Round
- Material: Plastic
- Top diameter: 14.5 cm
- Typical use: Indoor and outdoor planting
How to use
Place a matching saucer under each pot if using indoors or on a balcony to collect excess water. Use a well-draining potting mix appropriate for the chosen plants and fill the pot leaving space at the rim for watering. When transplanting seedlings, handle roots gently and press soil evenly to remove air pockets. Water after planting and monitor moisture; plastic pots retain moisture longer than terracotta, so adjust watering frequency accordingly.
What to consider before purchase
- Check the 14.5 cm top diameter to ensure it matches the plant's root requirements
- Decide whether you need saucers or drainage modifications for indoor use
- Consider the pot material—plastic is lightweight and low-maintenance but less breathable than clay
Usage recommendations
For best results, use these pots for seasonal plantings, herb clusters or starter seedlings. Ensure adequate drainage and avoid prolonged waterlogging; rotate pots occasionally to promote even light exposure and replace with larger containers as plants outgrow the 14.5 cm diameter.
