Ceiling Mount Vision TM-1200

The Vision TM-1200 ceiling mount is a universal projector ceiling bracket designed to secure most video/data projectors to your ceiling. It features a fixed 1.1 m pole that can be cut onsite to achieve the required length, a white finish that integrates with standard ceilings, and an included safety tether. The bracket has a maximum recommended safe working load of 20 kg and a cable-friendly design to allow unobstructed access for bulky connectors.

Advantages

The fixed-pole construction provides high rigidity while allowing infinitely variable length after cutting. A safety fall-arrest tether is included for secure secondary retention. The quad-bolt chute-through system preserves clear cable access even for large VGA connectors. Security bolts are used instead of quick-release fittings to reduce the risk of tampering. For sloping ceilings a tilting mechanism allows up to 90° adjustment. A trim disk (TM-1200) is supplied for a neat appearance in false-ceiling installations.

How to use

Measure and mark the required pole length, then cut the supplied 1.1 m pole using a 2" pipe cutter with a 6–67 mm range (not included). Use the provided drilling jig to drill 9 mm holes into the pole for the mounting hardware. Attach the ceiling plate to the structure following local building and safety regulations, assemble the chute-through quad-bolt system to leave the cable path clear, and secure the pole. Adjust the bracket arms to align with the threaded inserts on the projector, fit a suitable screw from the supplied selection, and tighten with the included spanner and pin-hex key. Fit the safety tether as a secondary retention. If fitting into a suspended ceiling, attach the TM-1200 trim disk for a finished look.

Usage recommendations

Use the mount only within the recommended 20 kg SWL, follow local mounting standards for ceiling fixings, and wear appropriate safety equipment when cutting and installing the pole. The pipe cutter and metal cutting disk are not included; obtain these from your hardware supplier. For highest stability prefer solid ceiling fixings rather than only lightweight materials.
