Smoke detector Vivanco VVACSMOKALAR4PC wireless, battery 9 V, diameter 10.6 cm, height 32 mm, white
Vivanco VVACSMOKALAR4PC is a wireless smoke detector designed for home and office use. The compact round housing in white measures 10.6 cm in diameter and 32 mm in height and is powered by a single 9 V battery. The detector uses optical (photoelectric) sensing to identify smoke particles and delivers an audible alarm to alert occupants. It is suitable for ceiling or wall mounting in bedrooms, hallways and other common areas where timely notification of smoke is required.
The unit produces an 85 dB alarm tone that meets common domestic safety expectations and includes an optical status indicator to show normal operation and fault conditions. Acoustic functional testing is supported, allowing users to verify alarm sound without special tools. The compact and neutral-colour housing permits unobtrusive placement while maintaining clear detection performance for residential environments.
Mount the detector on a ceiling or high on a wall following local regulations and the manufacturer’s mounting instructions. Install a fresh 9 V battery, then perform the acoustic functional test to confirm the 85 dB alarm output and check the optical indicator for correct status. Avoid placing the unit too close to cooking areas, bathrooms or ventilation outlets to reduce false alarms. Test the alarm regularly and replace the battery when the device indicates low power or at the recommended interval.
Carry out the built-in acoustic test weekly to ensure the alarm and optical indicator are functioning. Replace the 9 V battery at least annually or when low-battery warnings occur. Install detectors in corridors and sleeping areas for early alerting and keep them clear of obstructions and direct steam or smoke sources.
