The Vivanco VVITLAN5E200W Cat5e Networking Cable is a reliable solution for establishing stable wired internet connections in homes and offices. With a length of 2 meters, this patch cable provides sufficient reach for connecting computers, routers, switches, and network printers situated close to each other. Featuring RJ-45 connectors on both ends, it ensures broad compatibility with standard networking equipment. The cable supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s, enabling fast and efficient data exchange for everyday internet browsing, file sharing, and streaming. Finished in a clean white color, it blends easily into modern interiors and office spaces without drawing unnecessary attention.

Advantages

This networking cable delivers consistent and dependable performance for local area networks. By utilizing the Cat5e standard, it meets the requirements of standard Gigabit Ethernet setups while maintaining signal integrity over its length. The factory-molded RJ-45 connectors provide secure plug-in connections that resist accidental disconnections. The flexible outer jacket simplifies cable management, allowing it to be routed neatly behind desks, along baseboards, or through cable ducts. The white color scheme ensures a discreet appearance against light-colored walls and furniture.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers and laptops to a network router or switch
• Linking network-attached storage devices and printers to a local network
• Setting up home office and small business wired local area networks
• Extending existing wired connections over a short distance of 2 meters

When it may not be suitable

This cable may not be suitable for long-distance runs across large rooms or between different floors, as the length is restricted to 2 meters. Additionally, environments that require advanced shielding against heavy electromagnetic interference may necessitate shielded cable types rather than standard unshielded patch cords.

Key specifications

• 2 meters cable length
• Cat5e cable standard
• RJ-45 male connectors on both ends
• Supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s
• White product color

How to use

To use the Vivanco networking cable, insert one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device, such as a computer or games console, until the retaining clip clicks into place. Connect the remaining RJ-45 plug into an available port on your router, switch, or wall socket. Ensure both plugs are fully inserted to maintain a stable link. Disconnect the cable by pressing down on the plastic retaining tab of the connector and pulling gently outward to avoid damaging the internal wiring or the equipment port.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the 2-meter length is adequate for the physical distance between your connected devices
• Check that your network equipment features standard RJ-45 ports
• Confirm whether your network infrastructure requires unshielded Cat5e cables

Handle the cable with care by avoiding sharp bends, excessive pulling, or pinching under heavy furniture to ensure long-term signal reliability and prevent damage to the internal conductors.
