Product information

Description

The Vivitek DX330 is a compact data projector with DMD technology and XGA (1024x768) native resolution. With up to 4,000 ANSI lumens brightness and a 30,000:1 contrast ratio, it delivers large, clear images—up to 300"—suitable for classrooms, meeting rooms, and other bright environments. The projector is lightweight (about 2.7 kg), features a top-side lamp cover for easy replacement, and an energy-saving lamp that extends lamp life up to 15,000 hours in Eco mode. It supports DLP DarkChip3 and BrilliantColor technologies for improved color reproduction and is 3D-ready via HDMI with DLP Link and Blu‑Ray 3D support.

Advantages

The DX330 combines high brightness and a high contrast ratio to produce sharp, vivid images even with ambient light. Its compact, portable design and low weight make transport and installation straightforward. The top-side lamp access simplifies maintenance, and the energy-efficient lamp offers an extended lifespan in Eco mode, reducing the frequency of replacements. Multiple input options including HDMI, VGA and composite video provide flexible connectivity for presentations and video playback.

Suitable for

  • Classroom presentations and lectures
  • Business meetings and conference rooms
  • Small auditoriums and training rooms
  • Home use for movies and multimedia

Key specifications

  • Brightness: 4000 ANSI lumens
  • Native resolution: XGA (1024 x 768)
  • Contrast ratio: 30,000:1
  • Projection technology: DMD (DLP DarkChip3, BrilliantColor)
  • Screen size compatibility: up to 300" (range 694.4 – 7620 mm throw)
  • Lamp life: up to 15,000 hours (Eco mode)
  • Weight: 2.7 kg
  • Inputs: HDMI, VGA, composite video

How to use

Place the projector on a stable surface or mount it according to installation requirements, then connect a video source using HDMI, VGA, or composite cables. Power on the projector and select the correct input. Use focus and zoom controls to achieve a sharp image and adjust keystone correction if necessary. For 3D playback, connect a compatible HDMI source and enable DLP Link 3D on the player when required. When not in use, switch to Eco mode to extend lamp life.

Usage recommendations

For best results in bright rooms, position the projector to minimize direct light on the screen, use Eco mode when possible to reduce lamp wear, and keep the top-side lamp cover easily accessible for lamp replacement or maintenance.
