Sealed Lead-Acid Battery Volt AGM 12V 14Ah VPRO — Rechargeable 12 V 14 Ah
Volt AGM 12V 14Ah VPRO is a sealed lead‑acid (VRLA AGM) rechargeable battery with a nominal voltage of 12 V and a rated capacity of 14 Ah. It is designed for both standby and cyclic applications where a compact, maintenance‑free power source is required. The valve‑regulated construction and absorbent glass mat (AGM) separator provide leak‑free operation, low self‑discharge and enhanced safety compared with flooded lead‑acid cells.
The battery offers maintenance‑free operation, reliable performance in standby and cyclic use, and resistance to vibration and shock. Tight internal sealing and valve regulation reduce gas emissions under normal conditions, enabling safe indoor installation and minimizing the need for ventilation. The AGM design delivers low internal resistance for stable charge acceptance and predictable discharge behavior.
Install the battery in a dry, well‑ventilated location with ambient temperature within the recommended range for lead‑acid batteries. Use a compatible charger or charging system configured for sealed lead‑acid AGM chemistry and the battery's voltage and capacity. Ensure correct polarity when connecting to devices or charging equipment. For multi‑battery installations, match batteries by type, age and state of charge. Periodically inspect terminals for secure connection and clean corrosion if present; avoid opening or puncturing the battery casing.
To maximize service life, charge the battery promptly after deep discharge, avoid prolonged storage in a discharged state, and use a float or maintenance charger for standby applications. Maintain ambient temperatures near room temperature when possible, as high temperatures accelerate aging while very low temperatures reduce effective capacity. Follow safety guidelines for handling sealed lead‑acid batteries, including wearing eye protection and avoiding short circuits.
