Battery Volt AGM VPRO 12V 150Ah VRLA sealed maintenance-free (model 6AKUAGM150)
Volt VPRO 12V 150Ah VRLA sealed maintenance-free battery (AGM) is a lead‑acid rechargeable battery engineered for both standby and cyclic use. Its absorbed glass mat (AGM) construction keeps electrolyte immobilized, delivering spill‑proof operation, reduced self‑discharge and consistent voltage output. The battery is suitable for applications that require reliable backup power and energy storage where maintenance access is limited.
The sealed VRLA design ensures maintenance‑free operation without the need to add water, while AGM construction improves vibration resistance and enables safer installation in multiple orientations. Low self‑discharge extends shelf life and readiness for standby roles. The battery provides steady current delivery for extended periods required by UPS, telecom systems and off‑grid energy storage, and its sealed case minimizes leakage and corrosion risk.
Install the battery in a well‑ventilated, dry location away from direct heat sources and open flames. Observe correct polarity when connecting to chargers, inverters or load equipment and use appropriately rated cables and terminals to minimize voltage drop. For standby operation, keep the battery fully charged using a compatible float charger with appropriate voltage and charge algorithm for VRLA/AGM batteries. For cyclic use, follow the charger manufacturer's recommendations for charge and equalization cycles suitable for AGM technology.
Store and operate the battery at moderate temperatures to maximize service life; prolonged exposure to high temperatures will accelerate capacity loss. Periodically check system voltage and charger settings, and avoid deep discharges when possible to extend cycle life. Dispose of the battery according to local regulations for lead‑acid batteries and use authorized recycling channels.
