Sealed AGM lead-acid battery voltage VE12-26 12V 26Ah by voltage
Sealed AGM lead-acid battery voltage VE12-26 12V 26Ah by voltage
The sealed AGM lead-acid battery voltage VE12-26 is a valve-regulated, maintenance-free 12 V battery with 26 Ah nominal capacity. Designed for both float (standby) and cyclic use, this rechargeable battery delivers a stable DC output for backup power applications. Its compact sealed construction and absorbed glass mat (AGM) design minimise electrolyte movement and eliminate the need for regular maintenance, making it suitable for installations where reliability and low upkeep are required.
The AGM construction provides low internal resistance and efficient charge acceptance while preventing leakage and gas emission under normal use. Valve regulation ensures safe recombination of gases, reducing the need for venting and maintenance. The battery's sealed, compact housing allows flexible placement in UPS cabinets, telecom racks, alarm panels and portable backup units. It offers a balance of capacity and size for small to medium backup tasks where a dependable 12 V source is needed.
Install the battery in a well-ventilated, dry environment and secure it according to equipment manufacturer guidelines. Connect the positive and negative terminals to the equipment using appropriately rated cables and correct polarity. For float/standby applications, use a compatible charger or power supply with a float voltage recommended for 12 V VRLA batteries. For cyclic applications, follow the charger manufacturer’s recommended charge profiles for AGM lead-acid batteries to maximise cycle life. Avoid deep discharges where possible and recharge promptly after significant discharge.
Store and operate the battery at moderate ambient temperatures to preserve capacity and service life. Regularly check system charging parameters and terminal connections. Replace the battery at the end of its service life or when capacity falls below required backup time.
