TOYA 17489 rope 100 m is a 100-metre plastic masonry string designed for marking straight lines during construction, painting and surveying tasks. Wound on a plastic spool, the rope offers resistance to breaking and stretching and is intended for repeated outdoor and indoor use where a durable reference line is required.
The plastic construction provides high tensile strength while remaining lightweight and easy to handle. Resistance to stretching and breaking makes the rope reliable for precise alignment and long-term use on masonry works. The spool design keeps the rope tidy, reduces tangles and enables controlled deployment and retraction on site.
Secure one end of the rope at the starting point and extend it to the target anchor point, keeping the line taut to establish a straight reference. Use the spool to unroll the required length and rewind after use to prevent tangling. For marking, snap a chalk line if needed or hold the rope in place while aligning bricks, tiles or paint edges. Inspect the rope before use and replace it if visible damage or excessive wear is present.
Store the rope coiled on its spool in a dry place away from prolonged UV exposure to preserve material strength. Avoid sharp edges and heavy loads that could cut or overstress the rope. For precise alignments, use together with clamps, pins or referee stakes to maintain tension.
