Chimney Brush Vorel W100 170 mm (model 72970) for flue cleaning

Chimney Brush Vorel W100 170 mm is a rotary cleaning brush designed to remove soot, creosote and loose deposits from round flue pipes and chimneys. The 170 mm brush diameter is suitable for medium-sized ducts and connects to extension rods to reach higher sections of chimney stacks. It is intended for routine maintenance of solid-fuel stoves, boilers and chimneys to help maintain proper draft and reduce the risk of blockages.

Advantages

The brush construction provides effective mechanical removal of soot and light deposits without chemicals. Its diameter and bristle density are balanced to work in medium-sized round flue pipes, offering good contact with the pipe wall for thorough cleaning. Compatibility with extension rods enables safe, stepwise cleaning of taller chimney sections from ground level or from an accessible roof edge.

Suitable for

• Routine cleaning of medium-diameter round flue pipes and chimneys
• Maintenance of solid-fuel stoves and domestic boilers
• Removing loose soot and reducing creosote buildup in accessible flues
• Use with extension rods for reaching higher chimney sections

Key specifications

• Brush type: rotary chimney brush
• Brush diameter: 170 mm
• Intended duct shape: round flue pipes
• Bristle material: durable synthetic or mixed bristles suitable for soot removal
• Connection: designed for attachment to standard extension rods for rotary cleaning

How to use

Attach the brush securely to a compatible extension rod, then insert it into the chimney or flue pipe. Operate the brush with a steady rotary motion, advancing and retracting gradually to dislodge soot and deposits. For taller chimneys, add extension rods as needed and continue cleaning from the lowest safe access point. After brushing, remove loosened residues with a vacuum or brush and check the flue visually to ensure adequate cleaning.

Usage recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment, such as gloves, dust mask and eye protection, and follow local safety rules for working at height. Inspect the brush bristles before each use and replace the brush when bristles are worn to maintain effective cleaning performance.
