Safe Vorel 78642 — steel security safe, 310×200×200 mm
Steel security safe Vorel 78642 with external dimensions 310×200×200 mm is a compact single-piece safe designed for storing documents, cash, small electronics and other valuables. Constructed from steel, the unit provides basic protection against unauthorised access and can be mounted to a wall or floor to increase security. Its size and boltable design make it suitable for home, office or vehicle locations where a small secure compartment is required.
The Vorel 78642 combines a thick steel sheet body with a digital lock and a hidden emergency key, offering two methods of access control. The safe includes a low-battery warning system and is powered by four AA (1.5 V) batteries, supporting uninterrupted operation with predictable maintenance. Its compact footprint and ability to be bolted down allow flexible installation while limiting opportunities for unauthorised removal.
Install the safe on a stable surface or secure it to a wall or floor using appropriate fixings for the installation substrate. Insert four AA (1.5 V) batteries into the battery compartment and follow the manufacturer’s instructions to set the digital code. Use the digital lock for daily access and retain the hidden emergency key in a separate secure location to enable mechanical opening if the electronic system fails or batteries are depleted. Regularly check battery status and replace batteries when the low-battery warning is indicated.
Position the safe out of direct sight and anchor it with suitable bolts matched to the mounting surface to deter theft. Keep the emergency key and code information separate from the safe. Replace batteries proactively when the low-battery indicator appears to avoid lockout situations.
