Wago 2002-1203 2-Conductor Through Terminal Block, 2.5 mm², Red
The Wago 2002-1203 is a high-quality 2-conductor through terminal block designed for reliable electrical connectivity in professional environments. Engineered with a 2.5 mm² cross-section and utilizing advanced Push-in CAGE CLAMP technology, this terminal block ensures secure and vibration-resistant wire terminations. Its compact design and red color coding make it an essential component for organized wiring in control cabinets and industrial distribution systems.
This terminal block offers significant benefits for electrical installations, primarily through its space-saving 5.2 mm width, which allows for high-density mounting on standard DIN rails. The Push-in CAGE CLAMP connection system facilitates rapid installation by allowing solid and ferruled conductors to be pushed directly into the unit without the need for specialized tools. Furthermore, the robust construction supports a rated voltage of 800 V, ensuring safety and durability in demanding industrial applications, including Ex e II hazardous area environments.
This terminal block may not be suitable for applications requiring wire cross-sections larger than 2.5 mm² or for environments where the specific chemical or thermal resistance of the housing material is not compatible with the installation site requirements.
To use the Wago 2002-1203, mount the terminal block onto a standard 35 mm DIN rail by snapping it into place. For solid or ferruled conductors, simply push the wire into the clamping unit until it is fully seated. For stranded wires without ferrules, use a standard screwdriver to open the clamping point, insert the conductor, and release the tool to secure the connection. The block supports both side and center marking for efficient circuit labeling.
Always ensure that the power is disconnected before performing any wiring tasks. When using stranded conductors without ferrules, ensure the clamping point is fully opened to prevent strand damage and ensure a gas-tight connection.
