Wago 2002-1907 2-Conductor Protective Earth Terminal Block
The Wago 2002-1907 is a professional-grade 2-conductor protective earth terminal block from the renowned TOPJOB S series, engineered for secure and reliable grounding in industrial and commercial control cabinets. This component provides a robust connection point for protective earth conductors, ensuring safety and electrical integrity within complex wiring systems. Its compact design and high-quality construction make it a standard choice for modern electrical installations where space efficiency and long-term reliability are critical.
This terminal block utilizes advanced Push-in CAGE CLAMP technology, which significantly simplifies the installation process by allowing for the direct insertion of solid conductors and fine-stranded conductors with ferrules. The vibration-resistant nature of the connection ensures that the grounding remains secure even in demanding environments, reducing the need for maintenance. Furthermore, the 5.2 mm width allows for high-density mounting on DIN rails, helping to optimize the available space inside control panels without compromising performance.
This terminal block is specifically designed for protective earth (PE) applications and should not be used for phase or neutral connections. It may not be suitable for environments exceeding the specified technical ratings or for conductors outside the recommended cross-section range.
To use the terminal block, ensure the DIN rail is properly installed. Strip the conductor insulation to a length of 10 to 12 mm. For solid conductors or fine-stranded conductors with ferrules, simply push the wire directly into the terminal point until it is fully seated. For other conductor types, use a suitable tool to open the clamp before insertion. Ensure the connection is firm and the conductor is securely held by the spring mechanism.
Always ensure that the protective earth connection is established before connecting any power-carrying conductors to the system to maintain safety standards.
