Terminal block Wago 2002-3201, 5.2 mm width, 500 V, grey
Wago 2002-3201 is a grey, triple-deck through/through/through terminal block with a nominal width of 5.2 mm, designed for DIN-rail mounting in control cabinets and distribution panels. With a rated voltage of 500 V, a depth of 93.3 mm and a height of 69.5 mm, this terminal block is intended for secure signal and power wiring in industrial and building installations. The product features three stacked connection levels (L/L/L) in a single compact footprint and is supplied without a marker carrier.
The compact 5.2 mm width allows dense channeling of conductors while maintaining clear separation between levels. The triple-deck configuration reduces the need for multiple separate terminals, saving space and simplifying wiring layouts. The grey housing provides visual consistency in panels and the device is suitable for Ex e II applications, meeting requirements for increased safety zones where flameproof equipment is not used. Its DIN-rail mounting enables fast installation and straightforward replacement.
Mount the terminal block on a standard DIN rail inside the control cabinet and align it with adjacent terminal blocks as needed. Strip conductors to the recommended length, insert each conductor into the appropriate connection level according to the wiring scheme, and secure them following the manufacturer's torque recommendations for reliable clamping. Use proper bridging components if electrical continuity between levels is required. Ensure that the selected conductors and insulation ratings match the 500 V rated voltage and the environmental conditions of the installation.
For safe operation, verify compatibility with Ex e II requirements in the specific installation and adhere to local electrical codes. Use appropriate ferrules or conductor end sleeves for fine-stranded wires, maintain correct stripping lengths, and avoid over-tightening connection screws. If marking is required, install a compatible marker carrier or use approved labeling methods compatible with the terminal block design.
