Pipe clamp Walraven 434 PE without lining G1/2 50 mm

Walraven 434 PE without lining is a compact pipe clamp designed for securing pipes with a nominal 50 mm diameter and threaded G1/2 connections. Manufactured from corrosion-resistant polyethylene (PE), this unlined clamp provides mechanical support for plumbing, HVAC and industrial pipework where a simple, non-insulated fixing is required. The clamp's profile allows for secure attachment to walls, ceilings or structural elements using appropriate fasteners, making it suitable for applications that prioritise compactness and chemical resistance of the clamp material.

Advantages

The Walraven 434 PE clamp combines a corrosion-resistant polyethylene construction with a streamlined unlined design that reduces bulk around the pipe while allowing direct mechanical support. Its compact form factor and compatibility with G1/2 threaded connections make installation straightforward where an unpadded clamp is acceptable. The PE material provides chemical and moisture resistance compared with some metal alternatives, and the clamp is lightweight for easier handling during installation.

Suitable for

• Securing 50 mm nominal diameter pipelines in plumbing installations
• Mounting pipe sections with G1/2 threaded fittings
• HVAC installations where an unlined clamp is acceptable
• Industrial installations requiring corrosion-resistant, lightweight clamp material

When it may not be suitable

This unlined PE clamp does not provide vibration damping or thermal insulation; it is not intended where pipe movement, noise reduction or thermal separation are required. If pipes need protective lining to prevent metal-to-pipe contact, or if high mechanical loads and heavy-duty support are expected, a lined metal clamp or a different support solution should be considered.

Key specifications

• Material: polyethylene (PE), corrosion-resistant
• Nominal pipe size compatibility: 50 mm
• Thread compatibility: G1/2 for connection to threaded fixings
• Design: unlined (no internal padding or insulation)
• Suitable mounting: wall, ceiling or structural supports using appropriate fasteners

How to use

Select appropriate fasteners and threaded fixings compatible with G1/2 to attach the clamp to the mounting surface. Position the clamp around the pipe, align it with the installation run and secure the clamp to the structure so the pipe is held without excessive compression. Ensure the pipe remains supported at recommended intervals for the pipe type being used. Do not rely on a single unlined clamp for heavy loads or to absorb system vibrations; use additional supports where necessary.

What to consider before purchase

• Whether an unlined clamp meets requirements for noise, vibration and thermal isolation
• Compatibility of the clamp's 50 mm nominal size with actual pipe outer diameter
• Appropriate fasteners and G1/2 threaded connectors for mounting and fixation
• Expected mechanical loads and whether lined or metal heavy-duty clamps are needed

Usage recommendations

Use the Walraven 434 PE clamp in installations where corrosion resistance and a compact, lightweight unlined clamp are priorities. Combine with additional supports at manufacturer-recommended spacing for the specific pipe material, and select correct fasteners and G1/2 threaded fixings to ensure secure, long-term mounting.
