CPU Waterblock Watercool Heatkiller Tube by Watercool, model 30232
Watercool Heatkiller Tube is a CPU waterblock designed for custom liquid cooling loops. Model 30232 serves as a compact interface between the processor and the cooling circuit, transferring heat from the CPU to the coolant. The product is intended for use with pumps, radiators and tubing in desktop PC watercooling systems and is compatible with HEATKILLER® Tube stands; a decoupling kit is supplied to reduce vibration transmission between the pump and the case bottom.
The Heatkiller Tube waterblock combines a compact footprint with direct contact cooling for efficient heat transfer. Precision internal channels optimize coolant flow, while the included decoupling kit uses a soft rubber mixture to prevent pump vibrations from transmitting to the computer case. The design supports straightforward integration into custom loops and is suitable for use with both D5 and DDC pump types when mounted on the HEATKILLER® Tube stand.
Install the Heatkiller Tube waterblock onto the HEATKILLER® Tube stand according to the stand manufacturer’s mounting instructions, ensuring proper thermal interface material is applied between the CPU heatspreader and the waterblock contact surface. Fit the decoupling kit between the stand and the computer case bottom to isolate pump vibrations; this uses soft rubber elements that compress to absorb mechanical energy. Connect inlet and outlet tubing to the waterblock ports and integrate with the pump and radiator in a sealed liquid loop, then fill and leak-test the system before powering the PC.
Use the decoupling kit when pairing the HEATKILLER® Tube with D5 or DDC pumps to minimize audible and structural vibration. Follow standard liquid-cooling precautions: use compatible tubing and coolant, ensure secure fittings, and perform a thorough leak test. Periodically inspect the decoupling elements for wear and replace them if deterioration is observed.
