Glass preserving jar WECK Tulpe 2700 ml, set of 4
WECK Tulpe glass preserving jars are straight-sided, reusable glass containers with a 2700 ml capacity, sold as a set of four. Designed for home canning and long-term food storage, these jars are suitable for preserving fruits, vegetables, pickles, sauces and dry goods. The clear glass construction provides good visibility of contents and is compatible with WECK rubber seals and metal clips, which are available separately.
These 2700 ml WECK Tulpe jars offer a combination of durable, heat-resistant glass and a practical shape that simplifies filling and pouring. Their straight sides make them easy to clean and stack, and the glass design is both oven- and refrigerator-safe, allowing for versatile use in meal preparation and preservation. The jars are reusable and free from taste transfer, making them suitable for repeated preserving cycles.
Before first use, wash jars with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. For canning, fill jars with prepared hot preserves leaving appropriate headspace, fit a clean rubber seal and secure with metal clips, then process according to your recipe’s heat-treatment instructions. For storage without canning, simply fill and close jars with a compatible seal and clip or store uncovered in the refrigerator. Allow jars to cool gradually after heating and avoid sudden temperature shocks to prevent thermal stress.
Use only WECK-compatible rubber seals and clips for airtight preservation. Do not place jars with metal parts directly on open flames or on high-temperature stovetops. Inspect seals before each use and replace them if they show signs of wear. For safe oven use, remove any rubber seals and clips first; for refrigerator and freezer storage, leave seals in place but allow space for expansion when freezing liquids.
