Inner Tube WELDTITE Self Sealing 700 x 28–35c Presta valve with sealant
Inner Tube WELDTITE Self Sealing 700 x 28–35c Presta valve with sealant
WELDTITE Self Sealing inner tube in size 700 x 28–35c fitted with a Presta (French) valve. The tube is supplied pre-filled with an anti-puncture sealant designed to seal small punctures automatically, reducing the need for immediate roadside repairs. Compatible with 700c rims and tyre widths from 28 mm to 35 mm, this tube is intended for road and hybrid bicycles used for commuting, training or recreational rides.
The self-sealing compound inside the tube helps close small punctures as they occur, maintaining tyre pressure and allowing continued riding without immediate intervention. A Presta valve provides secure inflation control and is compatible with standard Presta pumps and adaptors. The pre-filled design saves time during initial setup and offers additional puncture protection compared with a conventional inner tube.
Fit the tube to the rim following standard inner tube installation procedures: partially inflate the tube to give it shape, place it inside the tyre, and seat the tyre bead on the rim. Fully inflate to the tyre manufacturer’s recommended pressure and check that the tyre bead is evenly seated. Inspect the valve area and remove any valve core protectors or caps before inflation. If fitting from a valve hole that requires a thin washer or grommet, ensure the valve is seated correctly to prevent air leaks.
Store unused tubes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. After installation, monitor tyre pressure periodically and inspect for any signs of slow leaks. The self-sealing sealant is intended to close small punctures; larger cuts or sidewall damage will still require tube replacement or professional repair. If removing the tube for long-term storage, be aware that sealant may settle—agitate gently before refitting if necessary.
