WELL Mairdi MRD-816C Dual headset — USB-A, USB-C and 3.5 mm connectivity
The WELL Mairdi MRD-816C Dual is a wired stereo headset offering three connectivity options: USB-A, USB-C and a 3.5 mm jack. It is designed for use with phones, laptops and desktop computers, providing a straightforward plug-and-play experience for calls, online meetings and multimedia playback. The headset features a rotatable boom microphone with noise reduction, wideband audio modes and inline controls for volume and mute.
The headset supports multiple connection types, making it suitable for a wide range of devices without adapters. Its plug-and-play design works with common collaboration apps such as Teams, Zoom and Skype and with dictation software. A noise-cancelling microphone and wideband audio deliver clear speech and natural sound, while soft memory-foam ear cushions and an adjustable headband provide lightweight, all-day comfort.
The wired connection limits mobility compared with wireless headsets, so it may not be ideal if you need untethered movement. It is not intended as a high-end multimedia or audiophile headset for professional music production.
Connect the headset to your device using the appropriate connector (USB-A, USB-C or 3.5 mm). The device should recognise the headset automatically; no driver installation is required for basic audio and microphone functions. Position the boom microphone near your mouth and rotate it to the preferred side. Use the inline controls to adjust volume or mute the microphone during calls. Select the headset as audio input/output in your operating system or in-app settings when necessary.
For clearer voice communications, position the noise-cancelling boom microphone about 1–2 cm from the corner of your mouth and mute when not speaking. Use USB connection for full digital audio and microphone performance; use the 3.5 mm jack when connecting to mobile devices or legacy audio equipment.
