The My Book™ Duo desktop drive offers high-capacity external storage for photos, videos, documents and music. It ships configured in RAID‑0 for maximum sequential performance and can be reconfigured to RAID‑1 for data redundancy or to JBOD for use as two independent volumes. The unit includes a USB Type‑C port with all necessary cables and two USB‑A hub ports for connecting additional accessories, and supports USB 3.1 Gen 1/3.0/2.0.

Advantages

The drive provides very large capacity options up to 20TB in a single enclosure and delivers up to 360 MB/s sequential read speeds when using the USB Type‑C connection in RAID‑0. It is supplied with RAID‑optimized WD Red™ drives featuring firmware tuned for two‑disk arrays to help maintain read/write data integrity.
