Analogue Wiha caliMax 27083
The Analogue Wiha caliMax 27083 is a compact vernier caliper made from a non-metallic high-tech material containing 50% glass fibre. It offers dual-scale reading in millimetres and inches and is designed for outside, inside and depth measurements with almost parallax-free indication and a green vernier for improved contrast.
Lightweight construction (approx. 45 g) and non-metallic build reduce weight without compromising rigidity. Dual-scale vernier allows metric and imperial readings (0.1 mm and 1/64 inch). The green vernier scale and near parallax-free design improve legibility for reliable reading of measurement values.
Place the caliper jaws on the object to be measured for outside measurements, insert the jaws into the bore for inside measurements, or use the depth blade for depth measurements. Read the measurement from the vernier scale: use the millimetre markings for metric readings (0.1 mm resolution) or the inch markings for imperial readings (1/64 inch). Ensure the jaws are clean and aligned with the measured surfaces for accurate results.
Store the caliper in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Clean the measuring faces after use and avoid applying excessive force to the jaws. For consistent accuracy, check the zero position before each measurement and handle the non-metallic body carefully to prevent impact damage.
