The WOOX R7279 Smart Switch 2-gang module is a wired polycarbonate module designed to replace conventional wall switches. Compact and durable, it fits into standard electrical circuits and allows remote control of two separate channels (2-gang) via smartphone. The device also integrates a protective switching mechanism to prevent circuit overloads and offers a reliable alternative to traditional fuses.
This smart switch combines switching and overcurrent protection in one compact module. Its polycarbonate housing provides electrical insulation and mechanical durability while the electromagnetic trip mechanism can be reset without replacing components. With a rated breaking capacity of 10 A and compatibility with AC mains from 100–240 V at 50/60 Hz, the module is suitable for a wide range of installations. The compact dimensions (52 mm × 47 mm × 22 mm) make it easy to install behind existing wall fittings.
Mount the WOOX R7279 module inside the electrical box or behind the switch plate so that each of the two channels is connected to the corresponding circuit conductor and neutral according to local wiring standards. After wiring and restoring mains power, pair and configure the module with the WOOX app or compatible controller to enable remote switching. Use the app to switch each gang on or off and to monitor that the device is operating within the rated current limits.
Install and wire the module only when the mains supply is turned off. Follow local electrical codes and, if unsure, have a qualified electrician perform the installation. Do not exceed the 10 A breaking capacity per channel and ensure adequate ventilation and enclosure protection where required.
