How to use

Insert the stainless steel probe into the thickest part of the food without touching bone or pan surfaces. Place the measuring unit outside the oven or on a stable surface and secure it using the magnet, suspension eye or stand as needed. Set the desired target temperature or use the countdown/countup timer and start monitoring. The audible alarm will sound when the preset temperature or timer limit is reached. After use, allow the probe to cool and clean it according to the instructions.

Usage recommendations

For reliable core temperature readings, insert the probe into the centre of roasts or the thickest part of steaks and baked goods. Avoid contact between the probe tip and bones or oven walls. Use the continuous monitoring feature for long roasts by leaving the probe in the food and keeping the measuring unit outside the oven.
