Car lighter separator Xblitz Car Lighter Separator R3 for vehicle power sockets, single-channel adapter

The Xblitz Car Lighter Separator R3 is a compact single-channel adapter that converts a vehicle cigarette lighter/power socket into an additional usable outlet while keeping the original socket accessible. Designed for in-car power distribution, the unit enables connection of one extra 12V accessory or charger without modifying the vehicle wiring. Its small footprint and straightforward plug-and-play design make it a practical accessory for drivers who need to power GPS units, dash cameras, portable fridges or other 12V devices.

Advantages

The adapter preserves the original socket function while adding one extra channel, allowing simultaneous use of two devices from the same power point. Its compact housing reduces obstruction in the center console area and supports easy installation without tools. The device is designed for stable 12V supply to automotive accessories and minimizes the need to swap plugs during trips. The single-channel configuration simplifies cable routing and helps keep the vehicle interior organized.

Suitable for

• Powering a dash camera while keeping the original lighter socket free for charging a phone
• Supplying 12V power to portable refrigerators or coolers during travel
• Connecting GPS navigators alongside other in-car electronics
• Using small 12V inflators or vacuum cleaners without disconnecting existing devices

Key specifications

• Input voltage: 12V (vehicle cigarette lighter socket)
• Output channels: single additional 12V outlet while maintaining the original socket
• Physical format: compact in-line adapter for standard car lighter receptacle
• Connection type: plug-in for vehicle power socket; provides one extra socket for accessories
• Intended environment: automotive, in-car use

How to use

Insert the Xblitz Car Lighter Separator R3 into the vehicle’s cigarette lighter/power socket until it seats firmly. Plug the 12V accessory into the adapter’s additional outlet while leaving the original socket available for other devices. Check that the vehicle ignition or power mode supplies the socket and verify the connected device is receiving power. For safety, remove the adapter when the vehicle is parked for long periods or when performing vehicle maintenance.

Usage recommendations

Use the adapter only with accessories rated for 12V automotive power and avoid drawing current beyond the vehicle’s socket fuse limits. Avoid prolonged use of high-current devices that may overload the circuit. Inspect the adapter and plugs periodically for damage and ensure secure connections to prevent intermittent power loss.
