Graphics card Palit GeForce RTX 5080 GamingPro OC V1 — NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080, 16 GB GDDR7, PCIe 5.0, 256-bit, 2295 MHz
The Palit GeForce RTX 5080 GamingPro OC V1 is a discrete graphics card powered by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 GPU with 16 GB of GDDR7 memory on a 256-bit bus and a boost frequency up to 2295 MHz. It supports PCI Express 5.0, DirectX 12 Ultimate and OpenGL 4.6, and can drive displays up to 7680×4320. The card uses a triple-fan active cooling system with TurboFan 4.0, Composite Heat Pipes and a full-cover die-cast frame, and includes ARGB lighting and dual BIOS for flexible performance profiles.
The design combines industrial styling and customizable ARGB lighting with advanced cooling features such as TurboFan 4.0 (winglets and grooved blades), a 30° fin angle and grooved + sintered composite heat pipes to improve thermal transfer and reduce noise. Dual BIOS provides performance and silent modes; digital PWM and a reinforced die-cast full-cover frame increase power delivery stability and mechanical durability. Dual-ball bearings, IP5X dust resistance and optimized fan dynamics extend reliability and operating life.
This GPU is designed for high-power desktop systems; it may be unsuitable for small-form-factor builds with limited space or inadequate cooling. Systems with weak power supplies or motherboards that lack a PCIe 5.0 slot may not achieve full performance and should be evaluated for compatibility.
Install the card into a compatible PCIe x16 slot, secure it to the case, and connect the required 16-pin power cable from a sufficiently rated PSU. Connect display cables to HDMI or DisplayPort outputs. Optionally connect the 5V ARGB header to your motherboard or controller to synchronize lighting. Use Palit ThunderMaster utility to monitor GPU status, adjust fan curves, switch between Performance and Silent BIOS modes, control LED effects and perform overclocking if desired.
For stable high-performance use, install the card in a case with good airflow, use a power supply that meets NVIDIA’s recommended wattage for RTX 5080-class GPUs, and keep drivers updated via the NVIDIA App. Switch to Silent BIOS for low-load or quiet environments and to Performance BIOS for demanding gaming or rendering workloads. Use ThunderMaster for tailored fan curves and LED control.
