Power Strip HSK DATA acar S8 FA RACK Black 8 AC outlets 230 V
The acar S8 FA RACK is a professional rack-mounted power strip designed for 19-inch cabinets. It provides eight surge-protected and earthed AC outlets with a nominal input voltage of 230 V, a 3 m power cable and a compact housing suitable for installation in standard rack systems. The unit includes a high-frequency interference suppression filter with EMI/RFI attenuation around 35 dB, an automatic fuse for quick recovery after overload, and an indicator that shows the proper operation of the surge protection. The durable, rigid and self-extinguishing plastic enclosure meets requirements for professional use.
The power strip offers eight grounded outlets to supply multiple rack-mounted devices from a single unit while the surge protection and the high-frequency filter reduce the risk of damage from voltage spikes and EMI/RFI noise. An automatic fuse enables a fast return to operation after fault conditions, and the operational indicator provides immediate visual confirmation of surge-protector status. Its 19-inch rack form factor and 3 m cable simplify integration into server cabinets and networking racks.
Mount the acar S8 FA RACK into a 19-inch rack cabinet using standard mounting points. Connect the unit's mains cable to a properly rated and earthed AC supply (nominal 230 V). Plug your rack devices into the eight earthed outlets. Observe the indicator to confirm surge protection is active. If the automatic fuse trips, correct the cause of the overload or short circuit, reset the unit following the manufacturer's instructions, and verify normal operation before reconnecting all equipment.
Install the power strip in a well-ventilated rack, ensure reliable earth connection, and avoid overloading the strip by calculating the total power draw of connected devices. Regularly inspect the surge protection indicator and replace the unit if the indicator shows a fault or after a major surge event.
