Capacitor XTREME 7 µF 450 VAC motor run with leads (MPN 2778#)
XTREME 7 µF 450 VAC motor run capacitor with attached leads is a compact sealed component intended for use in single-phase AC motor circuits. It provides the rated capacitance of 7 microfarads at a maximum working voltage of 450 VAC and is supplied with insulated connection leads for straightforward replacement or retrofitting. The unit is designed to improve phase shift and running performance of fan motors, small compressors and other similar induction motors where a motor run capacitor is required.
The capacitor offers a stable capacitance value suitable for continuous operation in alternating current motor circuits. Its sealed construction provides protection against dust and moisture in typical indoor appliance and HVAC environments. Supplied with pre-attached insulated leads, the component enables quick installation without additional wiring accessories. The 450 VAC maximum rating makes it compatible with a wide range of domestic and light-commercial motor applications.
Before installation, disconnect power to the motor circuit and verify absence of voltage with an appropriate tester. Match the capacitor electrical characteristics with the motor manufacturer's requirements and original component specifications. Secure the capacitor in a suitably rated mounting location, observe correct polarity where applicable (for non-polarized AC capacitors this is not required) and connect the leads to the motor terminals or wiring harness following wiring diagrams. After connection, restore power and observe normal motor operation; if the motor continues to run abnormally or exhibits overheating, switch power off and re-check wiring and compatibility.
Use the capacitor within its rated voltage and temperature ranges and install it in dry, ventilated locations. Replace capacitors in sets or with identical electrical characteristics when servicing multi-capacitor systems, and dispose of removed components according to local electronic waste regulations.
