Tie-down strap VOREL 82407 by YATO, pack of 2
Tie-down strap VOREL 82407 by YATO, sold as a pack of 2, is designed to secure cargo and loads during transport or storage. Each strap has a length of 8 m and a width of 50 mm, with a thick weave and strong buckles that provide stable holding for luggage, boxes and other items. The straps include a tensioner for tightening; they are intended for horizontal restraint and not for suspension use.
The straps combine long working length with a narrow profile that fits most vehicle anchors and roof racks. High belt strength values in both tension and girth ensure dependable restraint for a wide range of loads while a low extension coefficient reduces stretch under load. Strong buckles and a robust weave increase durability and reduce the need for frequent replacement in workshop or moving scenarios.
Position the strap over the cargo so the load is centred on the webbing. Anchor the strap ends to suitable attachment points on the vehicle or rack, feed the free end through the tensioner and pull to remove slack. Operate the tensioner according to its design until the cargo is held firmly but without over-tightening. After transport, release the tensioner and unfasten the buckles to remove the strap. Inspect straps and buckles visually before each use for signs of wear or damage.
Use the straps only for horizontal restraint and not for lifting or suspension. Choose appropriate anchor points rated for the expected load, avoid sharp edges that can cut the webbing, and protect the strap with edge protectors where necessary. Replace any strap that shows fraying, cuts or damaged hardware. For heavier or critical loads, use multiple straps and follow vehicle or cargo manufacturer guidelines.
