Yato YT-84936 chainsaw bar is a replacement guide bar designed for petrol and electric chainsaws. Manufactured from Mn65 manganese steel, the bar offers increased resistance to abrasion and overheating for extended service life. The guide features a star nose with a roller bearing and a four-rivet attachment that delivers stable, precise mounting and smooth chain guidance. An integrated lubrication channel and oil reservoir provide consistent oiling along the bar to reduce friction and improve cooling during cutting operations. The bar is intended for both domestic and professional tasks including garden maintenance and tree felling, and it is compatible with YATO chains YT-84943 and YT-84963 as well as many chains from other manufacturers.
The construction from Mn65 manganese steel increases wear resistance and reduces the risk of thermal damage during prolonged use, while the four-rivet star tip and roller bearing improve installation accuracy and chain tracking. The built-in lubrication system supplies oil evenly across the entire bar to lower operating resistance and support consistent cooling of the chain and bar. These design features combine to extend the service life of the cutting system and provide reliable, low-drag performance in a variety of cutting conditions.
Fit the Yato YT-84936 chainsaw bar according to the chainsaw manufacturer's instructions: stop the engine, disconnect the spark plug or power source, remove the chain cover, relieve chain tension, and remove the existing bar and chain if present. Mount the replacement bar on the studs, align the star nose, and secure it with the original nuts. Reinstall the chain, adjust tension evenly along the bar, and confirm correct lubrication flow from the oil reservoir before use. After initial installation, check chain tension and oiling after a short test cut and retighten or adjust as necessary.
Use appropriate protective equipment—gloves, eye protection, hearing protection and chainsaw chaps—and follow safe cutting practices. Maintain proper chain sharpness and correct tension, keep the lubrication reservoir filled with recommended bar and chain oil, and inspect the bar regularly for wear, burrs or bent rails. Replace the bar if excessive wear or damage is found. Match the bar with a compatible chain pitch and gauge for optimal performance and safety.
