Yukon MOS Mounting Plate for Holosun Series Red Dot Sights
The Yukon MOS mounting plate is a precision-engineered accessory designed to facilitate the seamless integration of Holosun series red dot sights onto MOS-ready firearm platforms. By providing a stable and secure interface, this mounting solution ensures that your optic remains firmly attached, which is critical for maintaining zero and achieving consistent shooting accuracy during operation.
This mounting plate offers a robust construction that withstands the recoil forces associated with regular firearm use, ensuring long-term reliability. Its design is specifically tailored to match the dimensions of the MOS system, allowing for a precise fit that minimizes movement between the sight and the firearm. By utilizing this dedicated plate, shooters can achieve a low-profile setup that enhances target acquisition speed and overall ergonomics without compromising the structural integrity of the firearm or the optic.
This mounting plate is not compatible with firearms that do not feature the MOS (Modular Optic System) interface. It is also not intended for use with red dot sights from manufacturers other than Holosun, as the mounting hole patterns and footprint dimensions may differ significantly.
To install the mounting plate, first ensure the firearm is unloaded and safe. Remove the factory cover plate from the MOS slide and clean the mounting surface thoroughly. Place the Yukon mounting plate onto the slide, aligning it with the pre-drilled holes. Secure the plate using the appropriate screws provided with your optic or firearm, ensuring they are tightened to the manufacturer's recommended torque specifications. Once the plate is secure, mount the Holosun red dot sight onto the plate and tighten the optic screws to complete the installation.
Regularly check the mounting screws for tightness after initial installation and after extended shooting sessions to ensure the optic remains securely zeroed.
