Air Stone ZOLUX flexible 20 cm — aquarium aeration stone, model 32763
ZOLUX flexible 20 cm air stone (model 32763) is an aquarium aeration accessory engineered to produce a consistent flow of fine bubbles that improve oxygen transfer and water circulation. The 20 cm length and flexible construction allow positioning along tank walls, under gravel or among decorations while connecting to a standard aquarium air pump via tubing. Designed for use in both freshwater and marine aquaria, the air stone supports biological filtration and helps maintain healthy gas exchange without creating strong currents that could disturb plants or sensitive species.
The flexible design provides easy placement and adapts to curved surfaces or confined spaces. Fine-porous material generates small, uniform bubbles that increase the air–water contact area, improving oxygenation and reducing CO2 stratification. Its 20 cm working length covers a larger distribution area than small stones, enabling gentler circulation and more even aeration across the aquarium. The product is compatible with common aquarium tubing and standard low-pressure air pumps.
Connect the air stone to an appropriate low-pressure aquarium air pump using suitable tubing. Position the flexible stone where aeration is needed — along the back wall, under substrate, or near the filter outlet — and secure it with suction cups or discrete weights if required. Start the pump and adjust airflow with a valve or the pump’s controls to obtain a steady stream of fine bubbles without excessive turbulence. Regularly inspect the stone for clogging and clean or replace it when bubble output diminishes.
For optimal performance, use an air pump with output matched to the aquarium volume and include an adjustable air valve to control bubble intensity. Periodic cleaning by gentle brushing or soaking in dechlorinated water helps maintain porosity; avoid aggressive chemicals. When placed under substrate, ensure it does not become fully clogged by fine sand or detritus by monitoring bubble pattern and repositioning if needed.
