Rotary grater Zyliss E900057 — manual metallic rotary grater, aluminium, 1.4 kg

Zyliss E900057 is a manual metallic rotary grater and spiralizer made from coated cast aluminium with stainless steel drums. Swiss-designed for controlled hand operation, this rotary grater weighs approximately 1.4 kg and is supplied as a single unit with a plunger, table clamp, drum storage tube and three interchangeable drums for fine grating, coarse grating and slicing. The unit combines a stable base with interchangeable cutting drums to process cheese, vegetables, nuts and other foodstuffs by rotating the drum by hand.

Advantages

The housing is made of durable cast aluminium with a metallic finish while the drums are manufactured from high-quality stainless steel, ensuring corrosion resistance and food-safe surfaces. A strong suction foot secures the grater on smooth worktops, and an included table clamp enables stable fixing on rougher surfaces. The design improvements — larger dispensing angle, higher front-edge height, an insert guide for correct plunger orientation and a plunger with hygienic cover — facilitate safer, cleaner and more consistent processing. The product comes with a five-year guarantee and is designed in Switzerland.

Suitable for

• Grating hard and semi-hard cheeses for salads, pasta and baking
• Slicing and shredding vegetables and fruits for salads and sides
• Chopping or grating chocolate and nuts for baking and garnishes
• Preparing uniform slices and shreds for recipe prep and portioning

How to use

Secure the grater to a suitable work surface using the suction foot on a smooth countertop or attach the table clamp for rougher surfaces. Insert the chosen drum into the housing and place the food item into the feed tube. Use the plunger to hold the food in position and turn the drum by hand to grate, slice or shred. Empty the drum and change drums as required for different textures. Follow the insert guide to ensure correct plunger orientation and maintain steady, even pressure while rotating to produce uniform results.

Usage recommendations

For best performance and hygiene, use the plunger cover to protect contact points and clean the housing and drums by hand washing soon after use. Avoid using the suction foot on textured surfaces without the clamp. Choose the fine drum for hard cheeses and chocolate, the coarse drum for softer cheeses and vegetables, and the slicing drum for uniform slices. Store drums in the provided storage tube to protect cutting edges.
