3Doodler PLA refill strands in Robo Silver provide additional polylactic acid filaments for 3Doodler pens. The pack contains 25 pieces of 3 mm diameter strands, each weighing 2 g and 254 mm long; after remelting a single strand yields approximately 2.5 m of usable filament. The material is eco-friendly PLA without BPA and offers a glossy finish suitable for artistic and model-making applications.
The PLA strands are eco-friendly and glossy, designed to produce uniform, stable results with 3Doodler Create and Pro pens. They are relatively stiff with consistent end caps for reliable feeding and reduced jamming. Each strand remelts into a long usable length, allowing for extended drawing sessions from a compact pack.
Insert a 3 mm PLA strand into a compatible 3Doodler pen according to the pen's instructions. For 3Doodler Create set temperature to LO and ensure the LED shows green. For 3Doodler PRO set temperature between 180–190°C and speed between 3–6. Feed the strand steadily and allow the filament to warm and extrude before drawing. Follow the pen manufacturer's guidance for loading, unloading and cleaning to maintain correct operation.
Use these PLA strands only with compatible 3Doodler models: 3Doodler PRO, Create Plus, Create, 2.0 and 1.0. Do not use with 3Doodler Start or 3Doodler 3D Build & Play. Store filaments in a dry place away from direct sunlight and keep out of reach of small children when heated.
