3Dsimo PLA Filament, Green, 5 m spool for 3D pens and mini printers
3Dsimo PLA Filament in green is supplied as a 5 m spool intended for use with compatible 3D pens and compact or mini desktop 3D printers. The material is polylactic acid (PLA), a thermoplastic known for easy extrusion, low warping and smooth layer adhesion. This short-length spool is convenient for small projects, quick repairs, prototype elements and creative tasks where only a few meters of filament are required.
The filament offers straightforward feeding and reliable melting behavior at typical PLA temperatures, supporting consistent flow in 3D pens and small extruders. Its low-warp characteristics reduce the need for heated beds or complex adhesion aids, and the green colour provides clear, saturated results for visible model parts. The small spool format keeps storage compact and minimises waste when only short runs are needed.
This 5 m spool is not intended for continuous large-scale printing or long-duration production runs because the length is limited and will require frequent replacement. For applications that need high-temperature resistance, flexible materials, or specialty filaments (such as ABS, PETG, nylon or composite blends), PLA may not meet mechanical or thermal requirements.
Load the filament into a compatible 3D pen or mini printer following the device manufacturer’s instructions. Set the extrusion temperature to a typical PLA range and allow the device to reach target temperature before extrusion. Feed the filament steadily to avoid jams and use short extrusion bursts for precise detailing with a 3D pen. For printer use, ensure the build surface is appropriate for PLA; adhesion aids such as blue tape or a glue stick can be used if required.
Store the spool in a cool, dry place and keep it sealed when not in use to reduce moisture absorption. For best results, use fresh filament and verify extrusion settings on a small test print or drawing before committing to final parts.
