Self-laminating ID cards 66×100 mm from 3L are flexible protective films designed to create durable identification badges, visitor passes, price tags and small signs without the need for a laminating machine. The films have an outer size of 66×100 mm and an inner printable area of approximately 56×90 mm (inner height 5.6 cm, inner width 9 cm). To assemble, insert a paper or printed insert into the film and fold the self-adhesive edge to seal a clear, protective layer that guards printed material against moisture, dirt and wear.
These self-laminating cards provide long-lasting protection against dust, grease, stains and moisture while preserving colours and print legibility. The format eliminates the need for specialised equipment and allows quick on-site finishing for single badges or small runs. The clear finish produces a professional, low-reflective appearance suitable for visible ID use and short-term signage.
Print the required information or image on paper sized to fit the inner printable area, then insert the paper into the film so the printed side faces the clear laminate. Fold the adhesive flap over the insert and press firmly along the seal to ensure full contact and remove air pockets. Trim any excess paper if needed for a neat edge. Allow the sealed card to rest briefly to ensure adhesive sets before use.
For best results use standard office paper or light cardstock cut to the inner dimensions. Avoid overfilling the film and ensure the insert is flat to prevent creasing. Store unused films flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve adhesive performance and clarity.
