Particulate filter 3M 7100140666
The 3M 7100140666 particulate filter is designed for use with compatible 3M respirators to provide combined protection against certain organic gases and airborne particulates. Supplied as a pack of two filters, it integrates gas/vapour adsorption and mechanical particle filtration in a compact cartridge intended for industrial and professional respiratory protection tasks.
The filter combines A2-class organic gas/vapour adsorption with P2 particulate filtration in a single lightweight cartridge, reducing the need to fit separate elements. Its construction supports consistent airflow and effective capture of oil and non-oil based particulates while providing sorbent capacity for specified organic vapours. The two-pack format ensures a spare element is available for routine replacement, and the filters are compatible with a range of 3M half and full face respirators that accept the same connection type.
Before use, verify the filters are intact and within the manufacturer’s recommended service conditions. Attach the filter cartridges to a compatible 3M respirator following the respirator manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring a secure and correct fit. Perform a user seal check with the assembled respirator. Replace filters according to exposure levels, breakthrough indications for organic vapours, increased breathing resistance, or manufacturer guidance. Dispose of used filters in accordance with local regulations and workplace safety procedures.
Use this filter only with respirators and connection types for which it is specified. Conduct a risk assessment to confirm that A2/P2 filtration is suitable for the expected contaminants and concentrations. For atmospheres containing unknown concentrations of gases, oxygen-deficient conditions, or highly toxic substances, select appropriate respiratory protection or consult safety professionals. Store unused filters in a clean, dry place away from strong contaminants and direct sunlight.
