Flexible LED strip ABILITE SMD2835 10m, 60 LEDs/m, 9.6W/m, 12V is a continuous 10-meter tape designed for interior general lighting, accent illumination and under-cabinet installation. The strip uses SMD2835 diodes arranged at 60 LEDs per metre and is rated at 9.6 W per metre with a 12 V operating voltage. It is cuttable at designated points and can be mounted on common profiles or flat surfaces to create linear runs or backlighting where a balanced combination of brightness and efficiency is required.
The SMD2835 diodes provide uniform light distribution and moderate luminous output while keeping power consumption low. The strip’s 60 LEDs per metre density delivers smooth accent lighting without pronounced hotspots. The 10 m length reduces the number of joins in long installations, and the cuttable design allows tailored lengths. Compatibility with standard 12 V drivers and the ability to mount on aluminium profiles improve thermal management and installation flexibility.
Measure the installation run and cut the LED strip only at the indicated marker points to achieve the required length. Connect the strip to a compatible 12 V DC power supply sized to provide sufficient current for the total strip length (multiply 9.6 W by metres used and add margin). For improved heat dissipation and secure mounting, adhere the strip to aluminium profiles or clean, dry surfaces and fasten with additional clips if needed. Make electrical connections following polarity markings and ensure all connections are insulated in enclosed or hidden installations.
Use a power supply with at least 10% headroom above the calculated wattage, and group long runs with parallel feeds or use aluminium profiles to prevent voltage drop and overheating. Avoid exposure to moisture unless the strip has a suitable protective coating or enclosure.
