Drill bit Abraboro SDS+ 6 mm for hammer drills — Abraboro 6mm SDS+
Abraboro SDS+ 6 mm drill bit is engineered for use with SDS+ hammer drills to create 6 mm diameter holes in concrete, masonry and natural stone. The bit features a solid cylindrical shank with an SDS+ fitting that ensures fast and secure mounting plus efficient transfer of impact energy from the tool to the tip. Designed for rotary hammer drilling, the Abraboro 6mm SDS+ balances drilling speed and chip removal for small-diameter anchoring, dowelling and service penetrations.
The Abraboro 6 mm SDS+ drill bit offers reliable bit retention and effective impact transmission thanks to the standardized SDS+ shank. Its optimized flute geometry promotes consistent dust and debris evacuation from the hole, reducing clogging and maintaining drilling progress. The hardened tip and body provide wear resistance for multiple holes in masonry substrates, while the compact 6 mm diameter is suitable for precise anchoring and retrofit installations.
Fit the Abraboro 6mm SDS+ drill bit into the SDS+ chuck of a compatible rotary hammer until it locks. Select the rotary hammer’s hammer drilling mode and set appropriate speed and impact settings for the material. Start drilling with light pressure to position the bit, then apply steady, even force while allowing the tool’s impact action to do the work. Withdraw the bit periodically to clear dust and improve cooling, especially when drilling multiple holes.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, dust mask and hearing protection. For reinforced concrete, detect and avoid rebar; reduce feed pressure and use intermittent drilling to prevent overheating. Match hole depth and drill diameter to fastener manufacturer recommendations for correct anchor performance.
