Drill Bit Abraboro SDS-Plus 6×260/200 mm, 4-cut for concrete
Drill Bit Abraboro SDS-Plus 6×260/200 mm, 4-cut for concrete
Abraboro SDS-Plus 6×260/200 mm drill bit is a purpose-built masonry bit for drilling into concrete, brick and other common building materials. The bit has a 6 mm diameter, a total length of 260 mm and a 200 mm working length, and it features a four-cut tip geometry that improves debris evacuation and stabilises drilling in reinforced and plain concrete. The shank is compatible with SDS-Plus hammer drills, allowing use in rotary hammer tools for renovation, installation and precision drilling tasks.
The four-cut (4-flute) tip geometry reduces binding, improves centring and provides more efficient dust and debris removal from the hole compared with standard two-flute bits. The SDS-Plus shank ensures secure tool engagement and quick bit changes in compatible hammer drills. The specified 200 mm working length enables deeper holes while the 6 mm diameter supports common anchors and fixings used in installation work.
Install the Abraboro SDS-Plus bit into the hammer drill’s chuck until it locks into the SDS-Plus fitting. Select the hammer or rotary-hammer mode as appropriate for the material. Mark the drilling point and start at low speed to establish a centring position, then increase speed and apply steady pressure, allowing the hammer action and the four-cut tip to remove material efficiently. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear dust and debris for cleaner holes and to reduce bit wear. For deeper holes, drill in stages and check hole depth regularly.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection and a dust mask when drilling. For reinforced concrete, reduce feed pressure if excessive sparking or bit wandering occurs. Use water extraction or a vacuum attachment where dust control is required. Replace the bit when tip wear noticeably reduces drilling efficiency or accuracy.
