Diamond Drill Bit for Tiles Abraboro 10 mm
The Diamond Drill Bit for Tiles Abraboro 10 mm is a diamond‑grit core drill designed for creating clean, circular holes in ceramic, porcelain and glazed tile surfaces. It produces precise openings with reduced chipping and is compatible with standard hand drills or drill stands when used at low rotational speeds and with continuous water cooling. The bit’s 10 mm diameter makes it suitable for common installation tasks such as running small pipes, cables or fixing hardware through tiled finishes.
This 10 mm tile drill bit features a diamond abrasive cutting edge that provides controlled penetration and long wear on hard glazed surfaces. Its core design removes a precise plug rather than pulverizing material, which reduces the risk of cracking and chipping around the hole. The bit performs reliably when used with water cooling to limit heat and extend lifespan, and its standard shank fits conventional drill chucks for straightforward mounting and replacement.
Mark the drilling position on the tile and, if possible, place masking tape over the mark to help prevent slipping. Fit the drill bit into a standard drill chuck or a drill stand and set the drill to a low speed. Begin drilling gently to establish the initial groove, applying light, steady pressure. Keep the cutting area cooled with a steady water flow or intermittent water application to prevent overheating and to flush debris from the hole. Withdraw the bit occasionally to clear the core and restore cooling. After reaching full depth, stop the drill and remove the bit carefully to avoid chipping the tile edge.
Use at low RPM with continuous or frequent water cooling; avoid high-speed operation and excessive pressure. For best results on very hard porcelain, consider using a drill stand for improved stability and alignment. Wear eye protection and follow standard safety procedures when drilling.
