Description

The ABUS IPCB64521 is an IP security camera for indoor and outdoor use with a 4 MPx sensor (2688 x 1520). The camera features an IP67 weatherproof housing, IK10 vandal protection and integrated IR LEDs for continuous 24/7 surveillance. Wide dynamic range (WDR) and Ultra Low-Light technology deliver clear images in varied lighting conditions. Power is supplied via PoE; no separate power adapter is included.

Advantages

The motorised 2.8–12 mm zoom lens offers 4.2x optical zoom and a horizontal viewing angle from 30° to 108°, with focal length and focus adjustable via web interface for precise framing. Automatic object recognition reduces false motion alarms by distinguishing people and vehicles from environmental disturbances. The camera supports local recording to microSD and is compatible with ABUS recorders and video management systems, as well as ABUS Secvest, Secoris and WLX Pro Plus. Installation is simplified with the optional mounting box (TVAC32600) and the free ABUS IP Installer software.

How to use

Mount the camera on a wall or ceiling; for protected cabling use the installation box TVAC32600. Connect the camera to a PoE switch or injector to supply power and network connectivity. Access the camera’s web interface or use the ABUS IP Installer software to set focal length, focus and viewing direction. Configure recording destinations (microSD, ABUS recorder or VMS) and enable the automatic object recognition to reduce false alarms. For mobile access and push notifications install the ABUS Link Station app and configure network settings, including IPv6 if required.

Usage recommendations

Install the camera at a height and angle that minimise direct exposure to strong light sources; adjust IR and WDR settings during commissioning. Verify PoE supply capacity and test automatic object recognition in the actual environment to fine-tune sensitivity and reduce unwanted triggers.
